Government Compliance Workshop

Are you confused by the state sales tax laws? Are you required to collect state sales tax or not? I am a construction company so I don’t have to collect sales tax. Right? What about your federal tax obligations? Do you have to file a company tax return? What is an I-9 form? Do my employees have to complete one? What do I do with the form after they complete it? What happens if my employee thinks they weren’t treated fairly? Do I have to register to do business in the State of Mississippi?

Learn the answers to these questions and many more at this informative workshop.

Representatives from the following organizations have been invited to speak:

Mississippi Department of Revenue

Department of Homeland Security

Internal Revenue Service

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

Mississippi Secretary of State

Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division

Department of Labor Office of Federal Contract Compliance
