Jackson, Miss. (July 17, 2019) – Contractors interested in becoming licensed or obtaining their Certificate of Responsibility are encouraged to register for the Mississippi Development Authority’s Contractor Licensure Readiness Workshop. The workshop will be held Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Knight Nonprofit Center located at 11975 Seaway Road in Gulfport.
The workshop will provide the knowledge necessary to understanding the contract licensure application and testing process, eligibility requirements, test structure and obtaining a Certificate of Responsibility. Attendees will learn about the application process, business/management law, NASCLA exams and commercial and residential contracts.
The Contractor Readiness Workshop is sponsored by MDA and Community Bank and facilitated by Anthony Griffin, general contractor and owner of The Griffin Group, LLC.
